A Pure Mediterranean Infinity Experience
For boutique-style travelers looking for stunning new places to stay, CORSU introduces a set of upgraded experiences centered around relaxation, privacy, wellness, and enhanced gastronomy, blending elements from Mani and Corsica that are common between the two regions and underline their historical connection. The hotel’s perched on a hillside and authentically designed stone buildings offer an astonishing 180º view of the sea, which becomes the backdrop of your every moment in this fascinating part of Greece.
Hotel Typology
The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.
Hotel Experiences
During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.
Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
Name Description
CORSU was proposed by the architectural office Micromega which carried out the initial studies for the development and design of the project and was subsequently approved by the owner as the official name of the hotel. The name CORSU is derived from the Corsican language, directly linking the new accommodation to its concept and bringing the Mediterranean island to the heart of Mani.
Although the new hotel will have purely Manitian characteristics and will be fully integrated into the local environment, common points of reference between Mani and Corsica will be sought, from architecture to gastronomy. These elements will be applied to various experiences and aspects of the residence, creating a harmonious coupling of the two regions. Since the Maniatians have a historical link to the island of Corsica, this union will "unlock" a new side of life in Mani for visitors, with images, tastes, and experiences that could come from either of the two regions.
Logo Description
The symbol in the CORSU logo is composed of three closed circles stacked on top of each other. This design evokes the privacy and independence that guests will enjoy during their stay, as well as the complex topography of the terrain, with its varied levels and curves.
Furthermore, the circles are identical at two points: the highest and the lowest. This feature symbolizes the merging of Mani and Corsican cultures and the creation of a unified experience that draws from both regions. From start to finish, guests will be immersed in a harmonious blend of these two cultures, creating a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
Hotel Design
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
