As the flagship hotel in a new destination for nature seekers in Greece, KOIA All-Suite Wellbeing Resort reshapes the hotel landscape in Kos with its 5-star castle-like accommodation. Inspired by the Wellness principles of Hippocrates, the hotel offers a transformative experience that allows its guests not only to relax, but to rebuild their bodies and minds while living a detox experience in a constant touch with nature and the more pure materials and ingredients. The hotel’s Cliff & Cave Suites provide breathtaking views and bring guests in direct touch with elements of local nature, while privacy, exclusivity, and unique Gastronomic and Wellness Concepts are among the top features of the “KOIA Experience.”
Hotel Typology
The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.
Hotel Experiences
During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.
Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
Name Description
KOIA: The Ancient name of Kos, functions as the main name of the property, identifying the location while being an ideal and easy word for branding.
Logo Description
The architecture of the hotel follows the location's interesting territorial topology, and the logo must highlight this element. The frame in which the schematic topographic is placed symbolizes a window or even the entrance of the hotel, which symbolizes the special world where the guest enters.
In the color version of the logo, the basic colors, blue and brown, reflect the land and the sea, the key elements of the location, but also of the overall experience that the hotel will offer.
At the same time, the composition of the 3 specific colors of the earth color palette, but also the design lines in general, produce a result that reminds of the waters of marble, a rock that was mined in Kos since ancient times.
Hotel Design
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
