Hotel Typology

The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

Hotel Experiences

During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.

Hotel Branding & Implementation

In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.

Name Description

The choice of the name "Nauma" allows the coexistence of the traditional with the modern. While it echoes the authenticity and charm of the past, it also embraces the modernity, the eccentricity and the cosmopolitan nature of Naoussa. Along with the traditional references, "Nauma" has a modern twist. The combination of "Nau-" with "together" - condensed in "Ma" - creates a sense of community, camaraderie and solidarity, values that are particularly important in the modern world. This condensation gives the name a note of intimacy and warmth, underlining the notion of camaraderie, hospitality and shared experience. The word 'Nauma', inspired by the term 'sailor', creates an allusion to the maritime tradition and the history of the Cyclades as maritime hubs. This refers to the rich history of the islands and their special relationship with the sea, which characterises the life and culture of local communities such as Naoussa.

Logo Description

The symbol of Nauma Design Boutique Hotel combines ancient Cycladic art with a contemporary aesthetic, promoting the concept of community and warm hospitality. The clean lines and minimalist aesthetic are reminiscent of the figures of ancient Cycladic figurines, which are timeless symbols of harmony and serenity. The symmetry and similarity of the two figures suggests continuity and unity, a symbolic reference to the link between tradition and contemporary Cycladic culture. The dual form of the logo, with the two shapes joined at the bottom, creates a sense of encounter and community. This concept embodies the "get-together" spirit of the hotel, promoting the concept of camaraderie and sociability in the Nauma space.

Hotel Design

For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
