The Epicenter of a City Living-Well Experience

For sophisticated travelers looking for a convenient yet upgraded accommodation option in the heart of the small city of Gythion, YeeOn introduces a harmonic blend of well-living & local elements, that allows its guests to discover both the destination and themselves. Through a carefully specified set of experiences, the hotel provides a contemporary boutique stay that combines smartly designed rooms and suites, wellness facilities and services, healthy gastronomic options, warm-hearted service, and a central location that becomes the starting point for exploring the surrounding area’s rich history and culture.

Hotel Typology

The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

Hotel Experiences

During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.

Hotel Branding & Implementation

In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.

Name Description

The hotel takes its name from the city of Gytheio, which derives from the Greek words 'Gi ton Theon', meaning 'Land of the Gods', and the Homeric word 'Gyon', which refers to the earth. By using Latin characters, the name is easy to read and stands out, while the two words that make up the name are clearly separated. The word 'Earth' (Yee) is highlighted in the name, emphasizing the hotel's connection to nature and the Laconian Earth, which guests will experience during their stay. This element is reflected in the hotel's design, which incorporates an imposing rock that ‘invades’ the building, as well as cave-like elements on the hotel grounds. The second part of the name, 'On', refers to the 'exaltation' of man and his way of life; an uplifting and enriching experience that the hotel aims to provide, centered around the guest's well-being. As a result, the name of the hotel predisposes travelers to its unique concept which sets it as the point of reference for exploring the Laconian region and the historically rich town of Gythio, while also promoting the concept of well-being.

Logo Description

The YeeOn logo features two drop-like shapes, created using irregular lines of varying thickness that converge into a single symbol. These inverted drops represent the hotel's wellness philosophy, which combines elements of well-being, nature, and the coastal landscape into a seamless experience.

In addition to symbolizing wellness, the two shapes also form the modern ‘location’ symbol, emphasizing the hotel's focus on providing a unique and contemporary experience that places the guest and his overall experience at the ‘epicenter’ of the hotel's narrative — literally and figuratively.

Finally, the orientation of the two shapes, pointing up and down, alludes to the interconnectedness of Earth and Heaven (Yee + On) that underpins the hotel's philosophy and concept. Together, these elements form a striking and memorable logo that embodies the essence of YeeOn.
