The logic of the hotel-district that creates the concept of micro-destination and has significant potential for expansion





As the original plot of investment is in the heart of a residential area, the first consideration was that it would be difficult to overcome any difficulties arising from its particular location. However, after the owner showed us around not only the plot but also the wider neighborhood, we found that the area of Agios Thomas is not just a neighborhood, but the "quality suburb of Preveza" , home to some of the most beautiful houses in the area , with the main element being the lemon and citrus trees that prevail in the area, but also the ideal landscape for walking and exploring by bike .


Taking into account the above, the location of the plot turned into the main advantage of the new accommodation , which, now based on the strategic pillar of the hotel-district , will have no development limits, while it will also contribute to the real further upgrading of the neighborhood . This is how Sezian develops in the area, maintaining mild tones of residential morphology , forming a diverse accommodation proposal, consisting of villas, maisonettes and rooms , which are located in a close radius, with the main building as a reference point that ensures the upgraded service with a hotel logic.

The feel-like-home design that allows the traveler to feel as if he is in his own holiday home, while having hotel service at the same time



With the new accommodation being developed as a natural evolution of the neighborhood , an element that would also be a pillar of the concept, the design requirements were adjusted accordingly, so that it was consistent with the general narrative. In search of the ideal design, Smart Interiors in collaboration with Katerina Koufiou for the landscape design, created a complete proposal that does not focus on impressing but on the formation of an accommodation that exudes intimacy and warmth, with soft elements that will allow as many people as possible travelers to identify .


Thus, all the spaces were designed as houses, with an emphasis on their connection to the courtyards, in which much of the summer experience takes place. Attention was also paid to details that will make the experience unique, such as the rooms of the houses with a hotel logic , the upgraded bathrooms and also the staged courtyards that encourage the traveler to live an authentic Greek holiday experience of a high level.
